Girls are divided into issue-based cohorts. A cohort consists of ten girls and two trained, college-aged woman facilitators.

Each cohort works with a local non-profit on specific legislative priorities. Girls can lobby for or against any bill. We just want them to be talking about it! During our 2019 Legislative Program, we partnered with Utah Educational Association (UEA) and Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault (UCASA).

Girls attend hour-long meetings once a week for ten weeks with their Cohorts. Cohorts will meet on Zoom, a secure, online video chat classroom. Girls are required to spend one day at the State Legislature, testifying and participating in press conferences at the capitol. See the curriculum schedule here.

Registration for our 2020 Legislative Program is now closed! Email us with any questions or concerns.
